This year for Toronto’s Nuit Blanche, Peggy Baker Dance Projects and Canada’s National Ballet School presented Night Garden. An exquisite ensemble of 12 dancers performed a continuous trio for twelve hours in a serene night garden illuminated by hand-made sculptural light forms. A fully electronic soundscape alluded to the sounds of the natural world as audiences discovered this performance from above, beside, in front, and behind the dancers.
