On Sept 12, Midi will be leaving for Afghanistan to take part in the Canadian Armed Forces Artists Program. During the first and second world wars and the Korean War, this program was made up of visual artists only. The program ended after the Korean War, but was revived in 2001. As it exists currently, artists of all disciplines are invited to apply with a project specifically centered on any aspect of the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2010, Midi was one of ten artists chosen to participate in this project.
The CFAP provides a range of unique opportunities to support the independent, creative work of professional Canadian artists of all cultures who wish to contribute to the history of the Canadian Forces.
