I’m pleased to be presenting at the University of Toronto Scarborough as the first speaker of the new series of artist talks, “Exploring Interdisciplinarity and Cultural Pluralism in Media Arts”, presented by Cultural Pluralism in the Arts and the Department of Arts, Culture and Media.
“Featuring a screening of a variety of video projects produced by Midi, this artist talk will provide insight into the discourse developing around mixed media and cultural pluralism and its place in Canadian arts. In response to Midi’s talk, Sinara Rozo-Perdomo, Executive Director of alucine Latino Film Festival, and Jason Baerg, Chair of the Aboriginal Curatorial Committee, will introduce their own interpretations and show some of the work they have been involved in bringing to Canadian audiences.”
Date and Time: Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 2-5pm
Location: Classroom BV340, Bladen Wing, University of Toronto Scarborough Campus
Admission to the artist talk is free and open to everyone.
