Today marks the last time in our lifetime that we will see a day with the same year, month and day: December 12, 2012. To mark this momentous occasion, I’ve posted 12 new movies. Some are new and some are previously released titles. Animal Crossing Underground, Blame Warhol and If Wishes Came True were made for the inaugural issue of Imaginations, in December 2010. Imaginations is a journal of cross-cultural media studies and is hosted out of the University of Alberta. Proof was commissioned by .dpi, an English/French online magazine that articulates the voices and critical viewpoints of women within contemporary technological landscapes. Swim is visualization of Ronna Bloom’s poem by the same name. And All Soul’s Day is an excerpt from Rhea Tregebov’s poem.
